The Centre aims to develop robotics and intelligent system solutions to meet the needs of the Industrys infrastructure inspection, logistics, health care, transport, and edutainment industries and offer our students industry relevant courses with a global orientation. The Centers services based on two-folded, firstly the research and secondly training for developing design, products, and deployments.
Our nations economy is highly dependent on advanced technology. Technology and related innovation are responsible our Nations economic growth. Industries that rely on technology need new scientists and engineers every year to help propel their success and it is up to those in our schools to produce these graduates. Inline with this vision, the Centre for Robotics and Automation which is part of the Bharath University, houses a multidisciplinary group with interests in cognitive systems and robotics and their constituent technologies.
The projects aim to do as enumerated below.
- Development of Emotional Expression System for Social Robots.
- Remote-Robotics System for Education and Assistive Applications.
- Development of Multi Robot Platform for Environmental Surveillance.
