The inauguration of the BIST ALUMNI MEET 2012 of batch 2008 -12 held at 11:00a.m on 30-09-2012 in the University auditorium. Alumni members of batch 2008 – 12 comprising all the branches of Under graduate courses participated in the meet eagerly.

Faculty members from the respective departments have also participated to welcome and interact with the alumni members. Dr. Kathir Viswalingam, Dean Research, Bharath University, graced the occasion.
The Alumni Meet started with registration of the all the alumni members by giving their present details about them in the register provided at the registration desk and recorded their current details.

Prof. P. Sachithanantham, Department of Civil Engineering, welcomed the alumni members and invited Prof. P. Dayakar, Department of Civil Engineering, to propose the welcome address.

Prof. P. Dayakar, welcomed the gathering and spoke in appreciation of the interest shown Alumni members for participating in the meet.

Dr. Kathir Viswalingam, Dean Research, Bharath University, delivered the Presidential address and emphasized the need, importance and benefits of the interaction and association of alumni members among them and the society.

He lauded about the presence of the alumni members and also appreciated the efforts taken by the management, the faculty and the students for their good efforts in organising the Alumni Meet 2012.

Then the interactive session commenced after a short Tea-break with the self introduction of Mr. K. Venkataraman, Alumnus, 2008-12 batch who is working as Asst. Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, Bharath University.

The interactive session continued with more alumni members by giving their present status and positions in various Industries and Institutions.

After the Interactive session the respective alumni members coordinated for the Photo sessions along with their respective faculty members. Mr. Balaganesh proposed the vote of thanks.
